High Tensile Forged Bronze Bending Bar

The High Tensile Forged Bronze Bending Bar has been developed to test the ductility of steel alloys after they are cast or forged into club heads. As a digital bending bar, it is the only method currently in circulation with which a clubmaker can relate the torque needed to bend a hosel one degree in Ft/Lbs for a specific alloy and clubhead model. The measurements made with the digital bending bar can then be tabulated and used for reference to ensure that the hosel is adjusted to the desired spec in as few strokes as possible to inhibit the onset of metal fatigue and to ensure that the stress applied remains within the elastic limit for the alloy from which the clubhead is made from. Furthermore, the Digital Torque Bending Bar is ideally suited for manufacturing cells in charge of bringing clubheads into spec after the final polishing stages of manufacturing.
