Across the globe, humans create a scary 300 million tons worth of plastic every year. Only a shocking 9% of this is recycled or reused. This means that 91% of all plastic is only used once, and ends up getting disposed of into our oceans or landfills. This is a huge amount which is why scientists predict that by 2050, there will be more plastic in our ocean than fish. The answer to this crisis is simply making better choices. A simple way you can make a difference, is by switching to sustainable products and by saying no to single-use plastic and using materials such as bamboo instead. This is why we have decided to make a conscious effort in making sustainable choices, beginning with the birth of our new bamboo golf tee.
1. Bamboo is the quickest growing plant in the world, with some variants that can even grow up to 3 feet per day, reaching full maturity by 1-5 years (you can even watch it grow in real time). This is considerably faster than our world's fastest growing trees, making it far more sustainable than wood, let alone plastic. Bamboo also requires little maintenance to farm as it does not require pesticides or herbicides to grow (even better for the environment).

2. Bamboo produces more than 35% more oxygen than trees. Research in such countries as Japan has demonstrated that bamboo can absorb as much as 12 tonnes of carbon dioxide per hectare per year, giving the plant a potentially crucial role in stabilising our planet's atmosphere and reducing carbon emissions.
3. Bamboo is remarkably strong; engineers have found it is even stronger than steel. According to Engineering Discoveries (2022), the tensile strength of steel is 23,000 PSI, whereas the tensile strength of bamboo is 28,000 PSI. This means that bamboo is 6 times stronger than steel, it is even being used in construction reinforcement as it performs better than steel. This is why we are confident that our bamboo tees will survive countless swings...

4. Not only are our bamboo tees extremely strong, but they are also biodegradable, meaning they will not cause any lasting ecological damage to golf courses and the subsequent environment. To make this even better, we also use biodegradable packaging, making this product even more sustainable and doing our own small part in helping save our planet.
5. Not only is bamboo good for the environment, but it is also is great for local communities. Bamboo production and manufacturing sustains the traditional industry and creates new well-paying stable jobs for locals in areas that need social and economic stability By supporting bamboo production and manufacturing, we can ensure that these local communities continue to flourish and thrive.

6.Another reason why we are supporting bamboo production, is the help and support it will provide for various wildlife and the earths biodiversity. For example, supporting the use of bamboo will, in turn, help repopulate the giant panda. The production of bamboo has allowed various places, such as China, to create bamboo corridors to help reunify pandas and increase their breeding. Who doesn’t want to help giant pandas!?
